EMOTICONS India is a psychological counseling, testing, training and research center. It came into existence to help people deal with their troubles and bring in a positive change.

EMOTICONS India was founded in 2014, by Ms. Nikunja Gujar, along with Ms. Kaveri Bose and Mr. Suraj Bholane. We ensure that all the psychologists here are compassionate facilitators who collaborate with you to help you in your journey of feeling and getting better.

Mrs. Anupama Ganu

  • Mrs. Anupama Ganu has earned her post graduate degree in child development from Mumbai University.
  • She is a certified play therapist from Centre for Human Growth & Development.
  • She is also a member of American Association of Play Therapy & National Association of Play Therapy, India.
  • She has worked as a play therapist for last 15 years counseling children from all strata of society.
  • She has been working with different NGOs, adoption centers & hospitals as a play therapist and for ‘Self-E’ program for schools as a Self-E Master.

Ms. Anisha Sharma

Asst. Prof. Anil Sawarkar

  • Mr. Anil Sawarkar has completed his M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology.
  • He is pursuing his Ph.D. in the field of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT).
  • He is currently heading the dept. of psychology, Fergusson College, Pune.
  • Mr. Sawarkar carries more than 10 years of experience as a psychologist and psychotherapist.
  • He has been contributing his knowledge about psychometry, research, psychotherapy and other fields of psychology at different institutes and organizations across the world.
  • Mr. Sawarkar has presented/ published 20+ research papers at state, national and international conferences.
  • He has been conducting various group therapies, REBT, Research, Psychometric Test Development and various psychology related trainings across the country.




Dr Vasudeo Paralikar
MD (Psychiatry), PhD

  • Dr. Vasudeo Paralikar is a consultant psychiatrist and head of the Psychiatry Unit of the KEM Hospital, Pune since 2008.
  • He has been practicing in Pune since 1984. He has had work-experience in the state-run mental hospitals, psychiatry department of Sassoon General, Hospitals and Maharashtra Institute of Mental Health for over 20 years.
  • He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the World Association of Cultural Psychiatry since 2016.
  • He had been the President of the Pune Psychiatrists’ Association in the past and is a speaker accredited by the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC).
  • His research bridges theoretical interests in cultural psychiatry and practical issues in patient care informed by explanatory models of illness and recovery.
  • In addition to twenty-five publications to his credit, he has been active in the fields of training and practice.


Dr. Robert Rhoton
Psy D., LPC, D.A.A.E.T.S

  • Dr. Robert Rhoton is the CEO of Arizona Trauma Institute and President at the Trauma Institute International.
  • Dr. Rhoton has supervised multiple outpatient clinics, juvenile justice programs, and intensive outpatient substance abuse programs for adolescents, day treatment programs for youth and children, adult offender programs, and child and family therapeutic services.
  • He served as president of the Arizona Trauma Therapy Network from 2010 through 2012.
  • Dr. Rhoton was a Professor at Ottawa University in the Behavioral Sciences and Counseling Department.
  • He is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.
  • He has many publications and books written related to trauma and treatment of trauma.

Elisa Nebolsine, LCSW
Cognitive Behavioral Therapist

  • Elisa Nebolsine is a therapist and a teacher. She is also an author of The Kid’s Grit Workbook: CBT Skills to Help Kids Cultivate a Growth Mindset and Build Resilience and Your Amazing Teen Brain: CBT and Neuroscience Skills to Stress Less, Balance Emotions, and Strengthen Your Growing Mind.
  • Elisa’s private practice in Falls Church, Virginia primarily focuses on youth and young adults with anxiety and mood disorders.
  • In addition to her clinical work, Elisa serves as an adjunct faculty at the Beck Institute in Philadelphia, and at Catholic University’s graduate school of social work where she teaches and consults on clinical practice with children and adolescents.
  • Elisa earned her master’s degree in clinical social work from Smith College, and she has been working with kids, teens, and young adults for the past twenty five years.
